How Cincinnati's cleaning companies actually compare

We checked every major cleaning service operating in the Cincinnati metro — what they publish, what they promise, and what they make you call to find out. This table is fact-checked against each company's own website (August 2026). Yes, we're on it too. Judge for yourself.

What to actually compare on

Who actually quotes you. At most of these, the number comes from a call center or a salesperson working off a script, and it can flex with whoever picks up. At Apelsin Maid it comes from Sherbek, who owns the company and will be accountable for the job. How pricing works sets out exactly what moves the number.

The guarantee's fine print. "100% satisfaction guaranteed" with no time window and no stated remedy isn't a guarantee, it's a slogan. Look for a number of hours and the word "free."

When your card is charged. Charged-after-the-clean means the company carries the risk of a bad job, not you.

Where franchises are strong

Fair's fair: the national brands have decades of process (The Maids' 22-step system, The Cleaning Authority's rotation model) and big review counts. If you want a large multi-person team in matching uniforms, they're a fine call. If you want a straight answer the same day from the person who will be accountable for the job, and a local number a human answers, that's the gap we built Apelsin to fill.
